Representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan met with Yury Smagarinsky, the CEO of the international firm Yoola. During this meeting, the two parties explored significant avenues for future collaboration, such as the potential introduction of YouTube monetization in Uzbekistan, the establishment of a company office within the country, the advancement of the creative economy, and the implementation of new IT solutions.

Yoola is a worldwide multi-channel network (MCN) and an official partner of YouTube, recognized as a trustworthy and established entity in the digital content sector. The company operates as a complete ecosystem for content creators and currently enables monetization for about 60% of all creators in Uzbekistan. Yoola partners with thousands of creators and media organizations globally, develops technologies for content promotion, monetization, and localization, and possesses a distinctive ability to target content by specific countries—a feature that provides significant benefits for the local market.

A primary focus of the discussion was the possibility of launching official YouTube monetization in Uzbekistan. Since this feature is currently unavailable to local creators, both parties agreed to collaborate with relevant representatives from the platform to advocate for this initiative. The introduction of official monetization would create new revenue opportunities for Uzbek creators and significantly enhance the industry's growth.

The meeting also emphasized educational initiatives and the strengthening of the local creator community. IT Park and Yoola intend to implement joint programs designed to improve creator skills, conduct training sessions, and increase the engagement of creative agencies in the development of the sector. These initiatives are anticipated to cultivate a more professional atmosphere and create favorable conditions for the emergence of new successful projects.

Additionally, the parties discussed Yoola’s intention to establish an office in Uzbekistan and acquire the status of a member company of IT Park Uzbekistan. This move would allow the company to secure a long-term presence in the region, take advantage of available tax incentives and institutional support, and play a more active role in introducing advanced IT solutions, including artificial intelligence technologies.

Partnering with Yoola is poised to create new avenues for the advancement of the local digital market: support systems for creators will broaden, content exports will increase, and innovative monetization models and IT products will be developed. For IT Park Uzbekistan, this collaboration signifies the enhancement of international partnerships and a hastening of the nation’s evolution into a competitive digital center in the region.
