Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference brought together over 70 representatives of Chinese businesses

Two Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conferences, hosted by IT Park Uzbekistan, took place in China. These events were held in two of the nation's largest cities — Beijing and Shanghai — with the objective of enhancing international collaboration and showcasing Uzbekistan’s investment and technological capabilities.

The conferences assembled over 70 representatives from 42 prominent Chinese firms engaged in sectors such as artificial intelligence, BPO, GameDev, IT, and fintech. Notable participants included major companies like Xiaomi, Baidu, YONYOU, and PayerMax, along with other significant tech enterprises looking to broaden their business operations in Central Asia and beyond.

Both events were directed by Jakhongir Radjabov, Business Development Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, who outlined the strategy for advancing Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem and emphasized the significance of strengthening partnerships with Chinese firms in the realm of digital technologies.

Among the speakers was Guo Jing, Sales Director at Renrui Human Resources, who recounted his successful experience of launching a business in Uzbekistan. He mentioned that the entire process — from registration to commencing operations — took merely one month. He indicated that the key factor in selecting Uzbekistan was the presence of multilingual professionals, which is especially vital for the growth of the company’s BPO services.

Another speaker, Yuriy Karp, Regional Director at BIPO, pointed out Uzbekistan’s major advantages: a supportive business environment, government backing for IT companies, competitive conditions for investors, and a highly skilled talent pool. He stressed that Uzbekistan is becoming a dependable hub for international companies aiming to expand their presence in Central Asia.

Following the conferences, an agreement was established to facilitate a visit from a Chinese delegation to Uzbekistan, during which attendees will explore the infrastructure of IT Park Uzbekistan, the national IT ecosystem, and the capabilities of local specialists and startups. This visit will mark a significant step in reinforcing bilateral cooperation and will lay the groundwork for new investment and educational initiatives.

Both conferences acted as important venues for strengthening partnerships between IT Park Uzbekistan and prominent Chinese technology firms, enabling the sharing of knowledge and the investigation of new opportunities for collaboration in the digital economy.
