The Uzbekistan delegation participated in the international forum Digital Tajikistan 2025

The international forum “Digital Tajikistan 2025” took place in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, featuring a delegation led by Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.

This event gathered representatives from governmental bodies across various nations, IT companies, experts, and members of international organizations at both global and regional levels.

The agenda of the forum concentrated on sharing best practices related to the development of the digital economy, the improvement of e-government systems, and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies and digital services.

In his speech, Minister Sherzod Shermatov provided an overview of the extensive reforms underway in Uzbekistan concerning e-government and the digital economy. He highlighted ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing the accessibility of digital public services for both citizens and businesses, ensuring information security, and promoting digital literacy.

Additionally, participants were informed about the collaboration between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the digital realm, which includes initiatives for developing IT talent, fostering the startup ecosystem, and executing promising digital projects.

During their visit, the Uzbek delegation also explored Tajikistan’s recent advancements in information technology, efforts to upgrade digital infrastructure, and the ongoing digitalization of public services.
