The AI Leaders program on AI strategy development for executives is launching.
From April 6 to May 31, the online program AI Leaders will be held, specifically tailored for executives and decision-makers. Participants will formulate a practical AI strategy for their organizations and, upon completion, will receive an official certificate from Stanford Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (Stanford HAI). This program is offered in partnership with Stanford HAI, OpenAI Academy, and Silkroad Innovation Hub.
AI Leaders emphasizes leadership and management in the context of artificial intelligence. Data indicates that 87% of executives are utilizing AI more frequently than their employees. Furthermore, the annual economic impact of AI adoption is projected to reach $4.4 trillion; however, only 7% of companies have effectively scaled AI initiatives beyond pilot projects. This highlights that successful AI implementation necessitates a strategic managerial approach rather than isolated experiments.
The academic backbone of the program is Stanford University Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (Stanford HAI), recognized as one of the premier research centers in AI globally. The center comprises over 300 researchers and establishes standards for the responsible and safe deployment of AI technologies. According to the AI Index 2025, private AI investments in the United States surpass $100 billion. Participants will receive a Stanford HAI certificate upon completing the program.
The practical aspect of the program is conducted in collaboration with OpenAI Academy, an educational initiative by OpenAI aimed at enhancing AI literacy and the responsible use of generative AI within organizations. The curriculum includes the AI Readiness course, which addresses AI capabilities, limitations, and implementation prerequisites, as well as the GPT Proficiency course, which focuses on applying GPT tools to managerial and operational tasks. The training is centered around real-world applications of AI in business and governance.
Silkroad Innovation Hub, an international innovation hub in Silicon Valley founded in 2023, is the program's partner, supporting startups, corporations, and leaders from Central Eurasia. The hub's ecosystem encompasses over 1,500 participants, has organized more than 350 events, facilitated investments exceeding $100 million, and its portfolio startups boast a combined valuation of $3 billion. The hub offers participants opportunities for international expert and business engagement.
The program comprises 8 online sessions that include discussions of case studies and 4 practical modules. Participants should expect a workload of 2–3 hours each week. Key focus areas encompass leadership, organizational transformation, risk management, and the incorporation of AI into business processes, products, and overall strategy. The final outcome is the creation of an AI strategy customized for the participant's organization.
Upon finishing the program, participants will join the AI Leaders alumni community. This community provides a private professional network, collaborative case discussions, insights into current AI trends and regulatory changes, as well as opportunities for partnerships and joint initiatives.
This program is designed for senior and mid-level executives, functional leaders, public sector representatives, as well as founders and top executives of technology firms where AI serves as a strategic growth driver and competitive edge.
The fee for participation is $3,000 per participant. This fee covers the training program, the development of a personalized AI strategy, the official Stanford HAI certificate, and access to the alumni community.
