Prospects for cooperation with the U.S. company Cerberus Frontier discussed

The Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, convened a meeting with a delegation from the U.S. company Cerberus Frontier, headed by Managing Director Mikheil Nibladze.

The meeting began with a presentation from IT Park for the visitors. The discussions focused on the ongoing digital transformation initiatives in Uzbekistan, reforms in the telecommunications sector, and issues related to attracting investment in this area. The delegation also shared insights regarding the collaborative efforts between Cerberus Frontier and Unitel Group under Senior’s Capital Management, along with their project portfolio in Georgia and Mongolia.

The Minister emphasized Uzbekistan’s swift population growth, the favorable conditions established in the IT and telecommunications sectors, the existing tax incentives, and the development of infrastructure. The parties exchanged perspectives on infrastructure sharing and the opportunities available for investors in Uzbekistan, including the benefits provided by IT Park.

It was acknowledged that the meeting would aid in the advancement of joint projects and the creation of new opportunities within this segment of the economy.
