Outcomes of the visit to London: new agreements and strengthened international partnerships

The delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan concluded a three-day working trip to London, which featured meetings with global technology and outsourcing firms, participation in the Call & Contact Centre Expo, and attendance at the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference.

During this visit, several preliminary agreements were established, and significant interest was expressed in setting up offices, launching R&D centers, and enhancing collaboration with Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference: strengthened partnerships and new commitments

The highlight of the visit was the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference, co-organized with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London. The conference attracted over 70 attendees from more than 50 companies, including Infosys, Salesforce, IBM, Deloitte, Innowise, Persistent Systems, and other prominent industry figures.

At the conference, a comprehensive presentation on the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan was provided, accompanied by remarks from international partners. The discussions centered on the country's talent pool, the competitive advantages of Uzbekistan’s service ecosystem, the enhancement of export infrastructure, and the opportunities available for international companies to expand their operations.

The event was graced by the presence of Ravshan Usmanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom; Ata Arguder, CEO of Academia Park London; Gufron Atto, CEO of AttoLabs AG; Vera Ignatieva, Coursera’s Director of Client Relations for EMEA; James Olley, founder of Montfort; Anthony Goodwin, founder of Antal International; as well as IT Park representatives Fayzulla Ulmasov and Sarvar Vokhidov, along with Dalerkhon Nodirov, Deputy Director of IT Park Ventures.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed with Academia Park London Ltd, outlining collaborative efforts on the development of Uzbek startups, attracting global investors, sharing expertise, and enhancing the international presence of Uzbekistan’s ecosystem.

Furthermore, an investment agreement was finalized with Datox, a startup established by Uzbek nationals in the United Kingdom. This agreement is part of IT Park Ventures’ broader strategy to support Uzbek founders in creating innovative products abroad and accessing global markets.

Post-conference, several companies indicated their interest in progressing negotiations and confirmed their plans to visit Uzbekistan.

The event underscored the nation’s status as a promising outsourcing hub and enhanced international collaboration.

Participation in Call & Contact Centre Expo and Meetings with Global Firms

During the visit, the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation participated in the Call & Contact Centre Expo, showcasing Uzbekistan’s IT and BPO capabilities to international firms. Consequently, preliminary agreements were established with several organizations, including TCC, First Voice, Peak Outsourcing, and Simply Contact.

Additionally, the delegation engaged in a series of B2B meetings with representatives from various technology, outsourcing, and consulting firms, such as Network Science, Arqa Technologies, Academia Park, Propelis, and other prospective partners.

Throughout the discussions, major global companies—including Persistent Systems, Exceed, Global Remote Services, and Simply Contact—expressed significant interest in expanding their operations into Uzbekistan. They acknowledged the country’s potential for developing IT teams, outsourcing centers, and engineering units, laying the groundwork for further information exchange and ongoing dialogue.
