Member companies of IT Park will be able to open bank accounts remotely

On 11 November 2025, a resolution from the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan came into effect, allowing foreign founders of IT Park member companies, along with their foreign employees, to open bank accounts and obtain bank cards remotely.

With the revised procedure, IT Park member companies that have foreign founders can now establish bank accounts online, eliminating the requirement for an in-person visit to a bank branch. This same process is applicable to foreign specialists working for IT Park member companies.

In line with Presidential Resolution RP-286, several important modifications have been made to the banking service framework for IT Park members, with the goal of streamlining procedures and enhancing their digital transformation:

These updates render banking services for IT Park members more adaptable, contemporary, and effective, significantly expediting the processes of account opening, salary disbursements, and minimizing administrative obstacles.

This initiative fosters a more conducive environment for foreign professionals and further bolsters Uzbekistan's status as a global center for digital technologies and IT outsourcing.
