LOTTE INNOVATE interested in IT outsourcing collaboration with IT Park Uzbekistan members
Representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Mahliyo Muksinova, the Services Export Development Director, convened with a delegation from the South Korean firm LOTTE INNOVATE. During their discussions, the two parties reached an agreement to promote collaboration in areas such as IT outsourcing, the startup ecosystem, IT education, and digital infrastructure.
LOTTE INNOVATE operates as the digital transformation and IT services arm of South Korea’s LOTTE Group. The company boasts a workforce of around 2,800 professionals and reports annual revenues surpassing USD 840 million. Based in Seoul, LOTTE INNOVATE has international offices in Vietnam, the United States, and Indonesia, and has formed partnerships in Mongolia and Myanmar.
The talks underscored the results of pilot projects that LOTTE INNOVATE has been executing in collaboration with three members of IT Park. The Korean delegation praised the potential of these partnerships and expressed a desire to broaden the company’s footprint in the region. They also explored opportunities for joint educational initiatives and involvement in investment projects.
Further conversations focused on enhancing the startup ecosystem and involving Uzbek companies in global IT ventures. The parties contemplated the signing of a memorandum of understanding and a potential visit by an IT Park delegation to LOTTE INNOVATE’s headquarters in Seoul.
This partnership is anticipated to bolster Uzbekistan’s status as a global IT hub in Central Asia, broaden international collaborations, and generate new opportunities for IT Park members in innovation and IT services export.
