In celebration of the 34th anniversary of the Republic of Uzbekistan's independence, a number of state officials and experts from the industrial and socio-economic sectors received prestigious state honors. Among those recognized were individuals from the digital sector, highlighting the importance of initiatives in digitalization and the progress of high technologies.
The awardees from the digital sector include Olimjon Mukhamadjanovich Umarov, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan (appointed on June 21, 2024); Shukhrat Munavvarovich Kadirov, Director of the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Ministry of Digital Technologies (appointed on January 31, 2023); and Nazirjon Khasanov, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Uzbektelecom” (who has been leading the company since 2018).
