IT Park Uzbekistan and the German Embassy in Uzbekistan discussed development of IT cooperation

Representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan, headed by Makhliyo Muksinova, the Services Export Development Director, convened with a delegation from the German Embassy in Uzbekistan. This embassy delegation featured Rebecca Dovergne, the Head of the Economic Department and Press Secretary, along with Eva Schneider, an officer within the Economic Department. Throughout the discussions, both parties explored the potential for collaboration within the IT sector and sought ways to draw German companies to Uzbekistan.

This meeting was prompted by the German delegation's expressed interest following their attendance at the Shared Services & Offshore Outsourcing Conference. During the discussions, IT Park representatives showcased key initiatives, including Zero Risk, One-Stop Shop, and Enterprise Uzbekistan, along with programs designed to enhance the startup ecosystem.

The attendees deliberated on strategies to promote Uzbekistan’s investment potential on an international scale and methods to capture the interest of German companies in the local IT market. Among the proposed actions was the facilitation of an open dialogue with IT Park members, enabling them to showcase their projects and successful case studies.

These initiatives pave the way for new opportunities to broaden international partnerships, attract foreign enterprises, and bolster Uzbekistan’s standing as a trustworthy partner in the realm of digital technologies.
