Representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Makhliyo Muksinova, the Services Export Development Director, convened with a delegation from Palo Alto Networks, headed by Kurshad Demiray, the Head of Sales for Central Asia. The two parties explored potential partnership models and reached an agreement to enhance collaboration with companies within the IT Park ecosystem, concentrating on the customization and support of Palo Alto Networks solutions, as well as investigating opportunities for BPO and reseller models emerging from Uzbekistan.

Palo Alto Networks ranks among the foremost cybersecurity firms globally. Founded in 2005 and based in Santa Clara, USA, the company employs over 14,000 professionals and reports annual revenues surpassing $7.5 billion. With over 80 offices worldwide, including locations in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Palo Alto Networks offers solutions for securing networks, cloud environments, and endpoints.

During the meeting, IT Park presented conditions for international partners, which include zero tax obligations for member companies, access to complimentary office spaces, IT visas, and a pool of multilingual talent. The discussions also addressed Uzbekistan’s strategic priorities, emphasizing the potential implementation of industry-leading solutions for safeguarding government cloud services and digital infrastructure, as well as the need for training and upskilling local engineers.

The conversation further included the involvement of Uzbek companies in supporting and adapting Palo Alto Networks solutions, along with potential collaboration models that encompass outsourcing, development, and promotion of the company's solutions within CIS markets.

Additionally, Palo Alto Networks expressed interest in the possibility of establishing its CIS regional headquarters in Uzbekistan, which would facilitate the export of products and provision of services throughout the region.

This collaboration with Palo Alto Networks strengthens IT Park’s role as a gateway for global technology companies entering the Uzbek market, broadens opportunities within the local services sector, and accelerates the achievement of the “Digital Uzbekistan — 2030” goals through knowledge transfer, workforce development, and the creation of new job opportunities in the ICT sector.
