IT Park Uzbekistan and Dealroom initiate cooperation to promote the national startup ecosystem on the global stage

Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, the CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, convened a meeting with Yoram Wijngaarde, the Founder and CEO of Dealroom. The discussion focused on potential collaboration, particularly the development of a tailored platform aimed at Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem, utilizing Dealroom's infrastructure and integrating with the local StartupBase platform.

Dealroom.co is a worldwide platform that specializes in gathering and analyzing data related to startups, technology firms, and investment ecosystems. Founded in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the company collaborates with over 120 governmental and industry organizations globally. The platform provides access to an extensive database in SaaS format, API integrations, and sophisticated analytical tools for investors, corporations, and public entities.

Dealroom representatives highlighted that Uzbekistan’s youthful demographic and the swift growth of its ICT sector represent considerable competitive advantages. During the meeting, the parties explored potential joint ventures, including enhancing data collection and analysis on startups, IT services, and foreign enterprises, creating customized analytics for international investors, and sharing expertise to assist in market entry.

In conjunction with ICT Week Uzbekistan 2025 and the Startup & Venture Summit, Yoram Wijngaarde, Co-Founder and CEO of Dealroom.co, officially announced the launch of a new portal focused on Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem — uzbekistan.dealroom.com. This platform will act as a specialized resource aggregating data on startups and venture capital activities within Uzbekistan.

The portal will feature information on startups, investment transactions, accelerators, venture capital funds, and key market players — ranging from entrepreneurs and business angels to large corporations. This new tool aims to enhance market transparency, improve access to information for investors and partners, and showcase the vibrant growth of Uzbekistan’s technology ecosystem on a global scale.
