IT Park University announces 100 grants for applicants from Fergana and Nukus
IT Park University is initiating a grant program aimed at graduates from Fergana and Nukus. This initiative will allow one hundred students to attend their first year of undergraduate studies at one of the nation’s premier IT universities without any tuition fees. The program is designed to assist talented youth from these regions and to foster an environment conducive to their successful entry into the IT sector.
Founded in 2022 at the behest of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, IT Park University has established itself as a vital institution for training highly skilled IT professionals. The educational approach is a hybrid model, featuring instruction in English, complemented by hands-on assignments and real-world projects. The university provides both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, and its collaboration with EPAM allows students to gain internship experience at the company’s European offices. In its inaugural admission year, 248 students were enrolled; currently, the university serves 409 students.
The academic offerings at IT Park University are consistently revised to align with the evolving demands of the fast-paced IT industry. The faculty includes experts from the international firm EPAM. The training encompasses practical projects in collaboration with industry partners and opportunities for international internships. According to university statistics, more than 80 percent of graduates have secured employment in IT firms.
This initiative will award 100 grants that cover the entire tuition cost for the first year of undergraduate studies: 50 grants will be designated for candidates from Nukus, and 50 for those from Fergana. The selection process will be based on entrance exams in English and mathematics. Applicants who possess international certificates (IELTS, TOEFL, CEFR, SAT, DTM, Astrum, among others) that validate their proficiency may be exempt from these entrance exams. Among the successful applicants, the top 50 scorers will receive grants.
Each grant fully funds tuition for one academic year, presenting a unique opportunity for young individuals to receive a quality education without financial burdens and to embark on a career in one of the most promising fields. Entrance exams for candidates from Fergana and Nukus will take place at the regional branches of IT Park Uzbekistan located in Margilan and Nukus.
The IT Park University grant program is designed to assist graduates from various regions and enhance access to contemporary IT education. This initiative will provide young professionals with new opportunities for career advancement and allow them to begin careers in the information technology sector.
