Representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Elyor Maksudov, the Startup and Investment Development Director, convened with a delegation from Fujifilm System Services Corp., headed by Amane Inoue, the Chairman of the Board. Following their discussions, both parties reached an agreement to formulate a roadmap for pilot projects in system development and EdTech, as well as to create joint working groups in collaboration with Japan Digital University in Tashkent.

Fujifilm System Services is a Japanese IT firm within the FUJIFILM Group, focusing on system integration, software development, and the implementation of cloud and infrastructure solutions. Its primary areas of operation include data management, AI-driven application development, digital transformation consulting, and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The company employs around 1,684 professionals and generates an annual revenue of approximately USD 840 million. Based in Tokyo, it manages projects and offices both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the company operates an outsourcing office in Vietnam, which houses over 200 Japanese-speaking engineers, though a shortage of developers continues to hinder project scaling.

During the meeting, the Fujifilm System Services delegation outlined its main areas of expertise, including system development and integration, IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, data and AI services, digital transformation consulting, and BPO. The parties also explored the potential for establishing an offshore branch of the company in Uzbekistan to enhance outsourcing capabilities.

For IT Park Uzbekistan, this collaboration provides access to the knowledge of a prominent international team, expedites the initiation of pilot projects with a significant global technology firm, and aids IT Park members in entering foreign markets, especially in Asia.
