Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, the CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, convened a meeting with Ra’ad Alabri, the CEO of Godoba, and Yamen Salem Said, the Director of the Project Management Office at Almatar. Following ICT WEEK 2025, Godoba officially launched its office in Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities for ongoing collaboration aimed at enhancing the local IT ecosystem.

Founded in 2017, Godoba is an international online platform that specializes in corporate and travel services. The company has a workforce of around 150 employees and operates in Dubai (UAE) and Muscat (Oman), generating annual revenues of approximately $10 million. Godoba provides B2B and B2G solutions for businesses and government entities, utilizing innovative technologies such as IoT. Its strategic partners include notable regional entities like Saudi Arabia's Almatar.

Almatar, which was established in 2019 and is based in Riyadh, operates as a technology-focused platform in the online travel industry, offering seamless booking services for flights, hotels, and related products to both individual and corporate customers. With an annual revenue of $50 million (according to Apollo) and a workforce of 800, the company is actively seeking to expand beyond Saudi Arabia into markets such as Egypt and India, while also exploring further opportunities throughout the Gulf region.

During the discussions, representatives from Godoba and Almatar highlighted Uzbekistan as a promising market for further growth. The conversation centered on integrating with the local startup ecosystem, organizing joint industry events, and facilitating knowledge exchange in digital services.

The parties laid out plans for continued collaboration. Godoba has already registered its business in Uzbekistan and is gearing up for active recruitment. In partnership with UzOman, the collaborators aim to attract investment and broaden their operations across Central Asia.

The forthcoming visit to Oman in November was noted as a chance for meetings and to strengthen partnership ties. The meeting concluded with an agreement to schedule a follow-up session to discuss the details of joint initiatives.

The collaboration with Godoba is expected to create new opportunities for IT Park Uzbekistan in the realm of digital tourism, enhance international partnerships, and bolster Uzbekistan’s standing in the IT and online services market within the region.
