For the first time in Central Asia: Web Summit Spotlight

Uzbekistan is poised to demonstrate its evolution as an emerging global innovation center by hosting its inaugural Web Summit Spotlight on September 27 in Tashkent. This event will bring together prominent international experts, venture capital investors, startup founders, and leaders from the IT sector.

Web Summit organizes the largest technology events worldwide, fostering connections among individuals and ideas that transform the world. What began as a 150-person tech conference in Dublin in 2009 has expanded into international gatherings, including its main event, the Web Summit in Lisbon every November, along with Web Summit Rio, Web Summit Qatar, and Web Summit Vancouver. These events serve as a launchpad for startups, a venue for multimillion-dollar deals, and a platform for shaping the technological agenda for years to come.

The introduction of Web Summit Spotlight in Uzbekistan signifies the nation's ongoing journey toward becoming a global innovation and technology hub. The Web Summit Spotlight program will emphasize Uzbekistan’s potential as an innovation center, the opportunities available for international companies in emerging markets, the prospects for venture capital investment, and the global trends in the IT sector.
