Delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with major companies in the United States

A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, headed by Farkhod Ibragimov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, traveled to the United States, where they engaged in discussions with international logistics, financial, and consulting firms. The talks centered on the establishment of representative offices in Uzbekistan and collaboration on digitalization efforts, as well as support for the national startup ecosystem.

Meeting with the Kyrgyz diaspora: expanding operations in Uzbekistan

IT Park representatives convened with members of the Kyrgyz diaspora, including delegates from Bilato, White Red White, Justice Inc., and ABM TRANS. These companies expressed their desire to expand their operations in Uzbekistan and set up offices in Tashkent, highlighting the benefits of a favorable business climate and proximity to regional markets.

As a result of the discussions, both Bilato and ABM TRANS showed interest in acquiring member status at IT Park Uzbekistan.

SAM Express: project implementation in Uzbekistan

During a meeting with SAM Express leadership, the parties explored collaboration in the digitalization of logistics. The company expressed a desire to relocate part of its Electronic Logging Device (ELD) service operations to Uzbekistan. Representatives from SAM Express indicated their readiness to launch a project that would involve hiring 50 specialists in one of the country's regions under the Zero Risk program. A visit to Tashkent is scheduled for October, during which meetings with representatives from Uzbekistan’s transport sector are anticipated.

Founded in 2012 and led by Mirlanbek Murzapazylov (Mike Matz), SAM Express is an American logistics firm based in Illinois, with additional offices in Kyrgyzstan and Moldova. The company operates a freight network with a fleet of over 500 trucks and generates annual revenues of around $150 million.

Compass Holding, Nova Lines, and Romotana: enhancing cooperation with Balkan countries

A meeting took place with representatives from Balkan companies, including Mihai Sava, President of the Moldovan transport company Nova Lines, Roy Dobrasinovic, CEO of Compass Holding, and members of the Romotana association, which is part of the Compass structure. The discussions focused on potential cooperation in freight transport, the development of joint projects, and avenues for Balkan companies to penetrate the Uzbek market.

Mihai Sava, the Founder of Nova Lines, announced his plans to visit Tashkent in October 2025 to engage in discussions with local partners and assess the potential for operational expansion.

The company is involved in the international freight transport industry and operates its own fleet of vehicles. Nova Lines partners with significant entities in Europe and the United States and is actively working to create a network of regional logistics operators. In a meeting with Compass Holding, the conversation centered on the financial framework of collaborative projects, including possible joint efforts in dispatching and associated services. The company identified several key areas for initial partnership, such as dispatching, technical maintenance and repair, collaboration with insurance providers, and financial and accounting services.

This association advocates for the advancement of international freight operations, encourages collaboration between regional businesses and global partners, and backs joint initiatives in logistics and transportation. Romotana acts as a forum for sharing knowledge and discovering new opportunities in European and Central Asian markets.

Riviera Finance: providing support to freight companies through factoring solutions.

During discussions with representatives from Riviera Finance, the parties explored the implementation of factoring solutions in Uzbekistan modeled after the American system, aimed at assisting transport and outsourcing firms. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring liquidity for Uzbek companies collaborating with American partners, as well as on establishing favorable conditions for the growth of logistics and BPO outsourcing.

Riviera Finance is an American firm generating annual revenues of around $50 million, specializing in factoring services. The discussions centered on strategies to assist transport and logistics companies in Uzbekistan through financial instruments, as well as potential collaborative projects in corporate finance.

Wersirius Holding: establishing an office in Uzbekistan

The meeting also covered the company's intentions to set up an office in Uzbekistan and leverage opportunities within IT Park, including tax benefits, visa assistance, and recruitment services. The parties agreed to pursue further negotiations regarding the initiation of logistics outsourcing services, which would create new employment opportunities and strengthen Uzbekistan’s role as a center for international logistics services.

Additionally, discussions included a meeting with Filip Milivojevic, Director of Leader Freight Systems (Serbia), a subsidiary of Wersirius. Agreements were made to broaden cooperation beyond dispatching to encompass the establishment of sales offices. Mr. Milivojevic also indicated his plans to visit Uzbekistan with a delegation of Serbian companies to investigate potential projects.

Wersirius Holding is an international logistics outsourcing firm founded in 2019. It offers dispatching, accounting, recruitment, marketing, and various other services for the transport industry. TTG: readiness to launch operations in Uzbekistan

The delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan visited the office of Kyrgyz freight company TTG. Representatives from the company were briefed on the residency application process and the Zero Risk program, which sparked considerable interest in enhancing collaboration.

TTG is a Kyrgyz transport and logistics firm that specializes in freight operations throughout the United States and Central Asia. The company operates its own fleet and provides dispatching, brokerage, and logistics support services. TTG is actively working to expand its international footprint and has shown interest in integrating into the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem.

Aravan Cargo: expanding presence and developing logistics hubs

Negotiations were also conducted with Aravan Cargo, a current member of IT Park Uzbekistan. The discussions addressed pressing issues and proposals put forth by the member.

The company has shown interest in broadening its operations in Uzbekistan, with Aravan Cargo aiming to act as a link between businesses in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

During the visit, Aravan Cargo also introduced the delegation to a Moldovan entrepreneur who expressed a desire to develop projects in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, Aravan Cargo suggested exploring co-investment opportunities in various initiatives.
