What came of it
At the Web Summit in Lisbon, IT Park Uzbekistan took part in the panel discussion "How innovation and foreign direct investment work in tandem".
Together with Marko Cadez and Hamad Al-Naimi, moderated by Steve Clemons, the discussion turned on a shift in what foreign direct investment means: no longer only capital, but technology, modern standards, talent development and durable international connections.
Alongside the summit there was a side event, co-organised by Plug and Play Central Asia and Caucasus.
