GITEX Europe Berlin 2025 — Uzbekistan's Tech Ecosystem on the World Stage
About This Event
Europe's largest technology exhibition with over 25,000 visitors. IT Park Uzbekistan with a dedicated booth and 8 Uzbek startups. Side event: Caucasus & Central Asia Tech Ecosystem Showcase.
What came of it
For the representative office, GITEX Europe in Berlin was above all a week of conversations from which several of today's load-bearing partnerships grew.
A meeting with the Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft and the German-Uzbek Business Cooperation Bureau (DUWK) - with Michael Harms and Vladimir Nikitenko - laid the ground for the cooperation that later made the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference in Berlin and the delegation trip to Tashkent possible.
The conversation with Robert Kirchner and Garry Poluschkin of Berlin Economics turned into a lasting collaboration; both later appeared as independent experts in Berlin.
The fair also brought a meeting between IT Park Uzbekistan, Schwarz Digits - the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group - and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the presence of Ambassador Dilshod Akhatov and his Counsellor for Economic Affairs, Temur Jalilov.
