Uzbekistan as a location - in one morning instead of six months of research

Why there is a second edition

Because the first one worked

On 9 October 2025 the first Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference brought more than 90 participants together in Berlin, among them representatives of Schwarz Digits, Plug and Play and EPAM. Together with the Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft a format took shape that goes beyond networking alone.

Barely a month later participants travelled to Tashkent to meet companies and see sites for themselves. The conference was therefore not the end of the exchange but the beginning of concrete business contacts. That is exactly why the format returns.

Background

The subject is on the table at government level

In June 2025 Federal Digital Minister Karsten Wildberger received Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripow at the Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation in Berlin. Business process outsourcing was one of the central topics of the meeting. Four months later the first Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference took place in Berlin - with a representative of the ministry on the panel.

The country's digital transformation is most visible at the state-backed technology hub "IT Park Uzbekistan". Eleven German companies are already active there.
Medium-sized companies in particular stand to benefit. We want to help connect them with Uzbek outsourcing providers.

Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation, public post of June 2025, translated from the German original. The number of companies reflects the ministry's figure at that time.

The ministry is neither organiser nor sponsor of the conference. The post is quoted here as a public statement on the subject.

Who should attend

Worth your morning if you have a say in delivery or location decisions - less so if you are after a general overview of Central Asia.

  • Founders and senior executives in IT, BPO, consulting, marketing and game development
  • Business development leaders evaluating new outsourcing locations and international growth
  • Investors and consultants looking at emerging markets with substance
What you will gain

How market entry actually works

Registration, IT Park residency, tax status, hiring - what happens in which order, and where it gets stuck in practice.

Firsthand experience

Companies already running IT and BPO operations in Uzbekistan report back - including what did not go to plan.

Direct access to decision-makers

Representatives of Uzbekistan's technology and outsourcing sector are in the room, not in a presentation.

An assessment you can defend

The talent base, the business environment and the limits of the location - enough to make a reasoned decision, or to rule it out on reasoned grounds.

Event partner

Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft

The Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. also accompanies the second edition of the conference as partner.

Botschaft der Republik Usbekistan, Berlin

A detailed agenda follows. Rates and cost per workplace are available on request - they depend on role, scale and term, and a single number on an invitation page would most likely be the wrong one for your case.
