Uzbekistan took part in Global Tech Weekend in Silicon Valley

From March 23 to 27, Palo Alto and San Francisco hosted Global Tech Weekend — a series of events that united startup founders, investors, and tech industry representatives.

As part of the agenda, Silkroad Innovation Hub, a collaborator of IT Park Uzbekistan, along with Uzbek product companies, presented the country's potential and the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem to the international audience.

On March 26, a panel session focused on the advancement of emerging tech ecosystems was held. Participants explored how infrastructure, professional communities, and investment opportunities are established, as well as the tools that facilitate the integration of local markets into the global tech landscape. Among the speakers were Timur Ganiev, CEO and founder of Mirasoft, and Shokhruh Ibragimov, a representative from Silkroad Innovation Hub.

During the discussion, IT Park Uzbekistan was emphasized as a crucial entry point for international companies aiming to penetrate the Uzbek market. The speakers provided insights into the opportunities for launching and expanding businesses in the country, along with the support available for foreign enterprises.

An additional segment of the program featured business meetings with investors, entrepreneurs, and executives from Silicon Valley. This format fostered direct networking and effectively showcased Uzbekistan’s potential to a highly experienced professional audience.

The involvement of IT Park Uzbekistan’s partners in such international initiatives plays a significant role in promoting the country on a global scale and drawing attention to the prospects for developing tech businesses in Uzbekistan.
