TruckTech Day conference focused on AI solutions held in Tashkent
On February 14, the TruckTech Day conference took place at the conference hall of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, concentrating on the use of artificial intelligence in freight transportation and logistics. The event attracted 438 participants and representatives from 312 companies.
A significant aspect of the conference was its international participation, with approximately 42 foreign logistics firms in attendance. Among these were companies from Eastern Europe, including Serbia and Moldova. Representatives from these Eastern European firms highlighted their increasing interest in Uzbekistan, viewing it not only as a promising market for collaboration but also as a potential site for establishing operational offices and enhancing their regional footprint.
The business agenda featured real-world examples of AI implementation at all critical stages of freight transportation. Presenters introduced new AI-driven products tailored for the trucking sector, shared market analytics, and offered practical advice on integrating digital tools into fleet management, dispatching, and operational processes.
Particular emphasis was placed on the concrete benefits of AI adoption, such as cost savings, enhanced accuracy in transportation planning, risk mitigation, and greater transparency in logistics operations. Financial support mechanisms and the Zero Risk concept, designed to lower barriers to innovation in the transport sector, were also discussed.
During the panel discussion titled “Scaling Trucking Businesses: People, Processes, and AI,” moderated by Ikboljon Isakov, participants addressed essential topics related to scaling transportation companies, adapting business processes in response to AI influences, and penetrating international markets.
Among the international attendees were Wersirius, AAM Network, and RouteMate (Serbia), RouteOne ELD (Moldova), along with Loadex AI and Globe Transportation (Kyrgyzstan). In addition, innovative local solutions were presented by DataTruck and Fleetmule, underscoring the expanding scope of collaboration and the increasing interest of international firms in Uzbekistan’s logistics and technology sectors.
It was also highlighted that Uzbekistan’s logistics ecosystem is undergoing active development. Currently, over 500 companies are residents of the technology park, operating in logistics and related fields, thereby creating a robust infrastructure and innovation foundation for international partners.
Attendees at the conference were able to engage in direct discussions regarding the implementation of technological solutions, pose inquiries to developers and business representatives, and forge new professional relationships.
TruckTech Day was integrated into ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing the technology ecosystem and bolstering international collaboration in logistics and AI. The conference highlighted a growing interest from foreign companies in the Uzbek market and solidified Uzbekistan’s role as an emerging platform for dialogue on technological and transportation innovations.
