IT Park Uzbekistan Showcases Uzbekistan’s Startup Ecosystem at FLY ASIA 2026 in South Korea
Throughout the exhibition, IT Park Uzbekistan conducted negotiations with representatives of over 30 leading South Korean IT companies and venture organizations, as well as various international organizations. The discussions centered on enhancing investment cooperation, supporting technology projects, and creating new opportunities for Uzbek startups to access international markets.
One of the key outcomes was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Busan Startup Investment Agency (BSIA). The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the startup ecosystems of Uzbekistan and South Korea, while expanding collaboration opportunities for technology companies from both countries.
Another highlight was the participation of Datagaze, a member of IT Park Uzbekistan, in the FLY ASIA Awards competition. The startup presented its technology solution to international investors during an investment pitching session (IR Pitching), gaining an opportunity to showcase the potential of its product and establish connections with representatives of the venture capital community.
Negotiations with International Venture Capital Funds and Accelerators
As part of the business program, IT Park Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with investment funds and organizations specializing in startup development and international expansion.
In particular, discussions with Series Ventures and Headline Asia focused on opportunities to attract venture capital to Uzbek technology projects and establish direct connections between local startups and international investors.
During a meeting with Indogen Capital, the parties explored opportunities to support Uzbek companies and startups entering the Indonesian market, including practical assistance and business networking.
An agreement was reached with BCCEI to launch reciprocal Soft Landing programs aimed at supporting startups entering new markets and adapting to local business environments.
Separate negotiations were also held with representatives of T-Hub, Startup Island, Turning Point MEA, and InnoEx. The discussions explored opportunities to expand the presence of Uzbek startups in India, Taiwan, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, including the development of partnerships and cooperation with regional technology ecosystems.
In addition, possibilities for utilizing the SkalePLUS platform and its partner network to distribute Uzbek IT products in South Korea were discussed. This could offer an additional channel for promoting Uzbek technology solutions in the Korean market.
Expanding International Partnerships
IT Park Uzbekistan representatives also met with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (USA), representatives from Ehime Prefecture (Japan), InnoQuest (Thailand), and IT Park Mongolia.
Further discussions took place with South Korean companies Mbas, Asak Korea, and C&M PLUS, focusing on opportunities to strengthen business ties and develop technological cooperation.
IT Park Uzbekistan’s participation in FLY ASIA 2026 marked another step toward promoting Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem internationally. The signed memorandum, agreements reached, and newly established business connections create further opportunities to attract venture capital investment, launch joint initiatives, and support the expansion of Uzbek technology companies into South Korea and other Asian markets.
