IT Park Uzbekistan and the Omani delegation agreed on cooperation in the fields of IT and energy

Representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan convened with a delegation from Oman that included prominent companies in the information technology and energy sectors. The discussions focused on potential collaboration in digital technologies and green energy. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was made to set up an office for Rihal Data Migration & Services in Uzbekistan and to advance plans for constructing modern data centers.

The Omani delegation featured Abdullah Al-Saidi, Founder and CEO of AB Energy; Azzan Al-Kindi, Co-Founder and CEO of Rihal Data Migration & Services; Shavkat Pulatov, Managing Director of AAA EuroAngar; and Raad Al-Abri, CEO of Godoba.com.

AB Energy (Oman) specializes in renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions. Its primary activities include thermal energy storage, mobile solar technologies, autonomous microgrids, and digital energy management systems for both corporate and public sector clients.

Rihal Data Migration & Services (Oman) is one of the largest companies in the country focused on data management, automation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Its offerings include data collection, storage, processing, and visualization, as well as software development and IT workforce training. Notable clients include Bank Muscat, Omantel, Petroleum Development Oman, and OQ, with the company employing over 270 specialists.

AAA EuroAngar (Russia) manufactures prefabricated metal-structure facilities. Its products are extensively utilized in constructing agricultural complexes, industrial and logistics facilities, retail centers, sports arenas, and administrative buildings. Key clients comprise agroholdings, logistics operators, and government developers.

Godoba.com (Oman) operates a B2B platform for corporate travel management throughout the Gulf region. This platform integrates flight bookings, hotels, visas, insurance, car rentals, and group travel services into a single cohesive solution, catering to over 200 corporate clients in the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities for collaboration in the ICT and energy sectors. Rihal Data Migration & Services expressed its commitment to establishing a presence in Uzbekistan in the near future. Initially, the company plans to hire 10 employees, with an anticipated expansion of the workforce to 75.

The company has also revealed its intentions to invest in the development of data centers with a capacity of 8–10 megawatts, aimed at serving the wider Central Asian region.

The delegation further suggested the creation of a representative office for an IT Park in Oman and expressed their willingness to offer soft-landing programs to assist Uzbek startups in entering the Omani market.

Omani firms also affirmed their participation in ICT Week in Uzbekistan and indicated their eagerness to continue discussions during the Comex exhibition.

The agreements established are anticipated to broaden opportunities for Uzbek IT companies, draw in new investments, and create jobs through the execution of collaborative initiatives. These advancements will further boost the export potential of Uzbekistan’s IT sector, solidify the country’s status as an attractive location for international tech outsourcing, and aid in its evolution into a regional center for digital innovation.
