IT Park Uzbekistan and Alibaba Group Discuss Cooperation in AI and Cloud Technologies

The discussions covered the future development of cooperation in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and support for technology startups, as well as opportunities to expand access for Uzbek specialists and companies to Alibaba Group’s international technological expertise.

A central topic was the potential introduction of Alibaba Cloud educational programs in artificial intelligence for IT Park members and Uzbek specialists. These programs may include technical workshops and preparation for professional certifications.

Significant attention was also paid to the possibility of granting selected Uzbek startups access to Alibaba Cloud resources for the development, testing, and further advancement of AI-based solutions.

The parties also examined opportunities to organize joint AI hackathons and innovation challenges involving Alibaba Cloud experts and representatives of the IT Park Uzbekistan startup ecosystem. These formats could help develop practical AI skills, test new technology solutions, and strengthen collaboration between startups and international experts.

IT Park Uzbekistan has been cooperating with Alibaba Group since 2020. Initially, the partnership focused on e-commerce and opportunities for market entry into China. In June 2025, discussions with representatives of Alibaba Cloud and Alibaba.com addressed the expansion of bilateral cooperation, and in July 2026, the focus was extended to include artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and digital infrastructure.
