IT Business Development and Export Opportunities Discussed in Khorezm
The event gathered 25 representatives from the IT sector across various regions of the country, including East Games, Ershi Logistics, United Soft, and BITO, as well as companies based in the Khorezm Region, such as MoveMe, KharezmiTech, and Creative People.
Discussions centered on further advancing the IT sector in the regions, boosting the export of digital services, assisting local companies in entering new international markets, scaling operations, and generating high-paying employment opportunities.
Currently, 113 companies in the Khorezm Region hold IT Park member status. These companies are working on projects in software development, BPO and KPO, business process automation, logistics, artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and other IT-related fields.
More than 20 resident companies are engaged in exports, 18 operate in BPO and KPO, and 17 have foreign capital involvement. Over 1,200 specialists are employed by IT Park resident companies in the region.
An example of an export-focused business is MoveMe. The company offers data processing and management services, supports HR processes, and provides financial and accounting analysis, along with logistics services. It exports its services to the U.S. market.
Another key player in the region’s technology ecosystem is KharezmiTech, which developed SmartBuilding360. The platform enables automated building management, energy consumption monitoring, and payment management. The project has also participated in the international Plug and Play accelerator program.
During the meeting, business representatives explored opportunities to increase export volumes, attract new international clients, and expand their geographical reach.
Special focus was given to the development of BPO and KPO, sharing experience in working with international clients among regional companies, and increasing the proportion of higher value-added services.
The companies also shared their plans to scale their teams, launch new business areas, and expand their operations across different regions.
Developing IT companies outside the capital is creating additional employment opportunities for local specialists and helping to establish modern jobs directly in the regions.
Participants focused on the potential for expanding BPO and KPO in Khorezm, involving young people with foreign-language abilities in international projects, and establishing conditions that allow local professionals to collaborate with global clients without leaving their home region.
After the meeting, the involved parties agreed to continue supporting IT companies focused on exports, promoting regional entrepreneurship, and generating new employment opportunities.
Carrying out these initiatives will enhance Khorezm Region’s status as a promising hub for IT and outsourcing, further integrating local companies into the global digital economy.
