Under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, regional development and the strengthening of human capital are receiving significant attention. As part of this focus, IT Park Uzbekistan is actively improving the management skills of the heads of its regional branches.

The participants completed a course covering relevant topics and practical tools for effective work organization and managerial decision-making.

In developing the course, IT Park identified several priority areas, including strategic planning, fundamentals of public administration, project management, KPI-based performance assessment, team management, effective communication, and negotiations with investors.

As part of the program, participants explored modern approaches to leadership, strategic thinking, systems analysis, and managerial decision-making. Separate sessions focused on effective time management, human resource management, and building high-performing teams.

Particular attention was also given to developing communication and negotiation skills, resolving conflict situations, media literacy, and public speaking. Participants also covered the organization of business meetings, briefings, and working sessions, as well as the rules of protocol and business etiquette.

IT Park also places importance on the professional culture of its management teams, including knowledge of business and diplomatic protocol, etiquette, and the principles of cross-cultural communication. These skills are especially important when working with international partners, investors, and foreign delegations, where professionalism, respect for traditions, and awareness of cultural differences play an important role.

A separate module focused on working in a changing environment and applying modern management approaches.

The participants were introduced to Agile and Lean principles, tools for developing innovative thinking, as well as the potential of Big Data and artificial intelligence in management and decision-making.

Today, IT Park Uzbekistan’s regional network comprises 14 branches: 13 across the country’s regions and one in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Their key responsibilities include developing the IT sector in the regions, increasing IT services exports, and attracting foreign investment.

The professional growth of regional branch leaders supports the implementation of modern management practices, enhances the efficiency of regional teams, and strengthens IT Park's efforts to develop the technological and export potential of Uzbekistan’s regions.
