From Market Entry to Digital Projects: IT Park Uzbekistan Holds Talks with Chinese Companies

During the meeting, representatives from the Chinese delegation showcased their technological solutions and core business activities, with a focus on the conditions for conducting business in Uzbekistan and potential collaboration with IT Park Uzbekistan.

Mingshang Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Jurui Cloud Control Technology Co., Ltd. expressed interest in setting up operations in Uzbekistan. Their representatives inquired about company registration processes, office infrastructure options, and the support available to international businesses through IT Park Uzbekistan.

Jahongir Kagirov, Director for Export Development at IT Park Uzbekistan, provided the delegation with an overview of the development of Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem and the opportunities open to foreign technology firms. Particular emphasis was placed on data center infrastructure and the potential for implementing projects in the digital technology sector.

Another central topic of discussion was the Khan Tengri Innovation Hub initiative, a joint effort between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The initiative seeks to support Central Asian technology companies in accessing markets in China, particularly in Shenzhen, by establishing direct business links and fostering partnerships with Chinese technology firms.

After the meeting, the parties identified several areas for further exploration, including company registration requirements, office infrastructure options, and the support mechanisms available for entering the Uzbek market.

The discussions underscored the interest of Chinese companies in exploring opportunities within Uzbekistan’s IT sector and established a foundation for ongoing dialogue on specific areas of cooperation, ranging from setting up local offices to developing digital projects.
