As part of the Global Business Services Forum 2026 (GBSF 2026), Jahongir Kagirov, the Director of Export Development for IT Park Uzbekistan, engaged in discussions with Tim Vorbach, the Founder and CEO of Emapta. The meeting focused on Uzbekistan's potential as a new location for the company's service operations, as well as opportunities to create a local presence, nurture talent, and initiate pilot projects.

Emapta, established in 2010, is a global outsourcing firm employing over 10,000 individuals. Currently, its operational network extends across Asia, Latin America, and Europe, serving clients from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. In recent years, Emapta has been actively working to diversify its global presence by investigating new markets for future growth.

During the discussions, representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan highlighted the benefits of establishing international service centers in the country, emphasizing its skilled and expanding talent pool, competitive business costs, government support initiatives, and opportunities to cultivate qualified professionals through collaborations with universities and IT Park's educational programs.

The meeting also covered the potential for launching pilot projects, forming dedicated teams, and possibly opening an Emapta operational center in Uzbekistan. The discussions concluded with a focus on the next steps for collaboration, including the creation of a roadmap and the identification of key areas for future partnership.
