Dalerkhon Nodirov appointed director of IT Park Ventures

Dalerkhon Nodirov has been named the Director of the venture fund IT Park Ventures. He succeeds Azamat Karamatov, who has moved on to become the CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan.

Nodirov comes with a wealth of experience in venture capital and technology development. From 2022 to 2024, he was part of AloqaVentures, where he played a significant role in developing the firm’s investment portfolio and fostering the growth of the startup ecosystem.

Between 2024 and 2026, he held the position of Deputy Director for Investments at IT Park Ventures, where he managed the fund’s primary investment sectors. In 2026, he advanced to a leadership position as Deputy Director for M&A, concentrating on strategic transactions, scaling portfolio companies, and forming partnerships.

By the conclusion of 2025, IT Park Ventures had established a portfolio comprising approximately 70 startups operating across more than 15 countries.

The fund employs a hybrid model: 38 startups received direct investments, while around 30 were integrated through partnership programs, which include acceleration, go-to-market, and scale-up initiatives developed in collaboration with both international and regional partners.

The primary investment sectors for the fund encompass FinTech, EdTech, SaaS, and AI.

IT Park Ventures also engages actively with international partners and takes part in co-investment deals. Its co-investors include over 30 organizations, such as Alchemist, 500 Global, AloqaVentures, Plug and Play Tech Center, Purple Ventures, and others.

Strategic Plans for 2026

In 2026, the fund aims to enhance its search for promising startups and talent while bolstering support for its existing portfolio by assisting companies in growth, scaling, and international market expansion.

Investments will be directed towards key technology sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), GameDev, and other rapidly growing segments.

There will be a specific emphasis on early-stage startups (Seed and Series A) to cultivate a robust and balanced portfolio.

The fund is also gearing up to initiate joint venture funds with international partners, creating further opportunities to attract investment and broaden its reach into global markets.

The appointment of Dalerkhon Nodirov as Director of IT Park Ventures is designed to ensure continuity in the fund’s strategic vision, enhance its capabilities, strengthen its role in developing the startup ecosystem, and draw venture investment into Uzbekistan’s economy.
